The first day of Spring is March 20th. If you are as tired of the cold (and snow banks, and wind, and...) as we are, join us March 19th, as we herald the coming of Spring with a little Swing dancing!!!
Where: Neighborhoods Cafe
When: March 19th (the day BEFORE Spring starts, NOT the day of) 7-9pm
What to Bring: Yourself. Maybe a partner, though not necessary. A coat, just in case.
What to wear: Flats or dancing shoes if you wish, casual attire (poodle skirts allowed, though not expected).
RSVP: firstname.lastname@example.org (you can just show up, but the RSVP will help us gauge how to set things up.)
What to expect: To have a ton of fun and meet new people!
A few local dance instructors, Jonathan and Chelsea Levis of Sudbury fame and David Johnson, former NY Fred Astaire Studio instructor and competitor, have volunteered their time to come and teach us how to Swing dance (We are HUGELY thankful!!!)!
Come early and grab dinner! The café will be table-free and will turn into a dance floor when the clock strikes 7pm. Drinks and snacks will still be available.
